Good Afternoon:

For many of us, January 20, 2009 is a day that we have waited for all of our lives. It is the day when President Elect Barak Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President.

Members of the Class of 1968 our world has changed. It is a indeed a new day.We must as always stand up to be counted and continue to make our contributions to the world of "YES WE CAN".

In 1968, we graduated and hit the ground running.  We said "Yes We Can"  and "We did". We now serve as the bridge for the generations who came after us.  Taking advantage of all left to them and building upon it, they have erected a more advanced world utilizing technology, taking the best from the past and infusing it with their visions for the future.  Also, there is a cohesiveness  and respect found among the members of the generations which is a wonder to see. 

"YES, WE CAN"
